Radcliffes presented proposals for the complete relocation of the Brighouse cricket Club to provide the largest part of a foodstore site. This involved many meetings with the cricket club’s executive committee and securing the relocation site. Radcliffes negotiated contracts with all the 14 adjacent ownerships to ensure delivery of the comprehensive 55,000 sq. ft store with 500 car park spaces.

The planning process was very long and drawn out, and ultimately ended in a Public Inquiry. At the inquiry the Inspector ruled in our favour. We had already begun the relocation process as the cricket square had to be laid and given time to bed in before cricket could be played.
