Habasit UK Headquarters, Gannex Park

Habasit wished to build a new headquarters building for their UK operations. Habasit are a Swiss based, family owned company, operating in 70 different countries. They are the largest manufacturers of conveyor belts in the world for a variety of markets, including food and beverage, construction, textile and automotive industries. Habasit wished to consolidate a number of outdated premises into one hi tech headquarters to achieve economies of scale, and streamline the efficiency the whole of the UK operation. Our technical team spent a long time with the Habasit management to gain a detailed understanding of their business and it’s requirements, and designed a facility tailor made for their business.

Both parties recognised the strength of dealing with well established family businesses, where the decision makers are integrally involved in the design process. This made the refining of design and price quicker and easier. We led the scheme through the planning process, and ultimately built a 45,000 sq ft manufacturing facility with extensive office and staff space integrated into the building. Habasit are now trading successfully from their Gannex Park premises.
